News: Colton Ford Single Released by Lucas

Lucas Distribution has confirmed a deal to distribute porn star-turned-singer and songwriter Colton Ford’s new single “The Way You Love Me” in its online store. Produced by Quentin Harris, “The Way You Love Me” is the first single from Ford’s upcoming album Tug of War. The 11-track maxi-single features remixes by Richard Morel for Pink Noise, Craig C., Frank DeMaria and Tony Sap, and Nekked, as well as a bonus track, “I Know What Works For Me.”

Ford has been a recording artist for 20 years. He was first signed in 1992 by Denise Rich and paired up with the godfather of house music, Frankie Knuckles. His hit dance single “Everything” was released in 2003 on Nervous Records followed by his top-10 Billboard Club hit, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” (a duet with dance diva Pepper MaShay), on Centaur Music. The duo’s cover of the Stevie Wonder classic peaked at #7 and stayed on the Billboard chart for more than 15 weeks with remixes by Ralphi Rosario, Mac Quayle and Solar City.

Ford was the subject of a documentary, Naked Fame, with then-partner Blake Harper that was released theatrically in 2004. Ford can also currently be seen on the new Here TV! series The Lair.

The maxi-single is available now at www.lucasentertainment.com.
