News: Gay Porn Pig Site Says No to Bareback

Gay Porn Pig has announced that it has eliminated more than 500 links to bareback sex sites from its directory. All paysite and video reviews of bareback sex content were also removed, along with several dozen blog posts. “The gay online porn community needs a stronger voice to teach younger gay men how to protect themselves without sacrificing hot sex,” says Gay Porn Pig site owner and operator Michael Kealy. “Gay youth needs to get this message before it’s too late.”

Gay Porn Pig’s decision was made in hopes of steering visitors toward alternatives to bareback porn. The gay porn portal, which has been in operation for two years, has already added a resource section to its directory providing surfers with access to AIDS service organizations online. A more detailed information and resource section is planned for the site this spring.

“Many producers, like Titan Men, Hot House, Raging Stallion and Channel 1 Releasing, are producing videos showing us that condom sex is hot,” Kealy says. “But with bareback sites popping up faster than we can count—and thousands of Web masters promoting these sites—we’re losing the battle.”

Keith Webb, vice president of Titan Media, issued the following statement in support of the move: “We at Titan Media would like to personally commend and thank Michael for having the courage to do the right thing. Michael has chosen the interests and health of others in his community over his own personal self-interests. While others in the gay adult community continue to profit at the expense of the entire gay community, Michael has had the courage to stand up and say no more.”
