News: Steve Cruz to Direct for Mustang

Following a successful career as a model, porn star Steve Cruz has signed with Falcon Entertainment to direct for its Mustang line of films. Cruz, who has previously worked as an exclusive for Raging Stallion Studios in films such as Mirage, Grunts and Savage, will begin production on his debut release, Blue Movie (to be co-directed by Falcon’s director of videography Leif Gobo, pictured above with Cruz), an homage to porn flicks of the 1970s and ’80s. The film will feature porn superstars such as Zak Spears (where’s he been!?), Dillon Buck, Nick Piston and CJ Madison. Nick Moretti, Scott Campbell and newcomers Colton Steele and Adam Herst are also set to appear.

Cruz has appeared in more than a dozen films and won numerous awards as a model. He also wrote the screenplay for Raging Stallion’s Hotter Than Hell, Parts 1 and 2. So how does his previous studio feel about his new deal? “We at Raging Stallion are very excited about Steve Cruz directing for Mustang Studios,” says president Chris Ward. “He showed his talent as a writer and behind-the-scenes coordinator on Hotter Than Hell and I expect him to have a very successful career as he moves from in front of the camera to behind it. Personally, I really look forward to seeing his films—he is one of my favorite persons in the industry.”

The still hot and hairy Cruz adds, “I’ve had the rare opportunity of working with some of the best creative minds in the industry. Because of the generosity of Raging Stallion Studios, Chi Chi LaRue and Titan’s Brian Mills I have learned how a production is built from the ground up. As a performer I always try to bring something extra to the screen, so I am very excited about the chance to do the same behind the scenes as a director for Falcon’s Mustang line.”

Blue Movie
will be released in December. For more information, visit www.falconstudios.com.
