News Update: Brent Corrigan Issues Statement

Following the events of last weekend at the GAYVN Awards, twink porn star Brent Corrigan is firing back at Russian director Michael Lucas and giving his account of what happened in a long post on his blog. “In what was an otherwise wonderful evening, there was some negativity directed at me from Michael Lucas,” Corrigan writes. “While unprovoked, his attempts to thwart a special evening for me were unsuccessful. Without warrant or invite, ML forced himself onto the stage. Saturday evening at the GAYVN Awards, Michael Lucas used me as a personal pawn in his game of publicity foul play.”

Corrigan goes on to say that Lucas’s version of the evening is “one long string of fallacies.” And that his boyfriend, Paul (pictured above with Corrigan), was not arrested and no one was threatened with any sort of bodily harm or death. “This was done to humiliate and dehumanize me and those who care and look after me,” Corrigan writes. “Michael Lucas could not stand to walk away from the awards with just one accolade. He had to pull tricks and play the bitter card to make it all about him. But at what cost? Anything Michael Lucas has to recite says more about him than me. If he wants to go on with his fabrications of hate and theatrics, I will have no part in it. He, or anyone else, can only take from me what I allow them to have.” For the full statement, visit BrentCorriganInc.com/blog.

On the Lucas front, Michael put up a letter on his blog last night titled, “Why I Stand Up for the Industry,” in which he defends his actions and affirms his commitment to protecting the porn business from underage models. For more, vist LucasBlog.com.

But this is how you can tell Michael Lucas is full of it:

If Michael Lucas' concern is protecting the industry from underage models, then why is he going after the FORMER underage model. Brent may have had a part in that, but he's not the main culprit. A REAL MAN in this situation would go after the real culprits - the producers and directors, for not doing the proper check to insure that they were hiring a model of legal age. Or he would criticize those producers and directors for not caring. Instead, he picks on the NOW-OF-AGE model who is building a successful business that he fears will rival his. That is if it hasn't already.
