Event: MightyMen.com Turns 12

MightyMen.com went online in July 1997 and was the host site for the defunct Men in Video awards in Los Angeles. Now the popular Web site is celebrating its 12th anniversary tonight, October 23, in Washington, D.C. at the Secrets nightclub. Porn superstar Matthew Rush is the featured performer. And yes, he will be naked!

Site owner and photographer Jon Royce is known for the many club and private gay porn events he produced through MightyMen in the Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco areas, including the Naked Bartender parties (we attended one of those in L.A. and the memory of naked bartender Cole Tucker pouring drinks over his cock for an appreciate and thirsty crowd is still emblazoned in our brains!) and the No Pants Parties. He moved to the D.C. area in 2002 and has continued to produce online videos with top stars such as Chris Rockway, Reese Rideout, Leo Giamani, Vince Ferelli and others.

But when it came time to pick the talent for this anniversary event, Royce says the choice was easy. “I had met Matthew Rush at Will Clark’s Bad Boys Pool Party in Palm Springs in 2002,” Royce recalls, “and we had kept in touch over the years. I’m glad we did.” The two worked together in January 2009 on Rush’s first video project after he left Falcon Studios as an exclusive. “I contacted Matthew and he immediately agreed to appear at our anniversary party,” Royce says. “I also wanted to bring this special event full circle and I have invited Will Clark to come in from New York and host the event. Will Clark was the naked bartender at our first MightyMen.com party in 1997.” For more information, visit MightyMen.com.
