Short Takes: Unzipped Names New Man of the Year…and More

Another year, another man of the year! Unzipped Media has announced Men magazine’s Man of the Year for 2010, and Samuel Colt (above) is this year’s lucky recipient of the honor. Colt, who is a Mustang Studios exclusive and appears in the new release Adrenaline, was selected by readers of the now defunct print magazine and won their votes by a large margin. “After seeing his assertive bedside manner in Green Door, I knew Samuel was a force to be reckoned with on-screen,” Unzipped managing editor Winston Gieseke says. “What I wasn’t prepared for was the humble, down-to-earth, genuinely nice guy he is in real life.” Colt joins previous winners Johnny Castle and Reese Rideout, among others, and official Man of the Year parties will be held throughout February and March to celebrate the issue’s release. For more, visit Unzipped.net. Congrats, Sam!…Suite 703 has recently relaunched its Web site with a scene featuring Drew Cutler and Spencer Whitman. It’s part of the online studio’s “Men Hard at Work” series. There’s also a preview trailer of a new threeway starring Damon Audigier, Danny Brooks and Tommy Defendi. We’ve reviewed and enjoyed compilation DVDs from Suite 703 before, so we’re happy to see them back in business. For more information, visit Suite703.com. Welcome back, guys!…Speaking of Web sites, Hot House Entertainment has added two new premium brand feeds to its award-winning Backroom site. Members will now get access to free content from Studio 2000 (including its studly discoveries Adam Hart, DC Chandler and Sonny Markham); one scene a week will appear on the site and all scenes will be archived for a year. The Backroom will also now include a Nude Male Dancers feed from the Stock Bar in Montreal, featuring hot Canadian hunks who dance naked with hard-ons. This new four-hour feed will change daily to show the previous night’s performances. Sounds like the next best thing to being there! “I’m sure that the surprise addition of these two new feeds will keep our members happily entertained for a long time,” Hot House president Steven Scarborough says.
