Event: Michael Lucas to Speak at Philly’s QFest

Philly readers, take note. Porn superstar Michael Lucas will be appearing this weekend at Philadelphia’s LGBT Film Festival, the 16th Annual QFest. The Lucas Entertainment president and CEO will showcase clips from his recent speeches at universities and anti-Israeli protests, in addition to hard-core clips from the Lucas catalog. His presentation will cover politics, barebacking, his founding of Lucas Entertainment and their smash hits Men of Israel and Inside Israel and perhaps feature a few of his gorgeous exclusive models. The event will be followed by an after-party at Voyeur Nightclub (1221 Saint James Street).

“QFest has a rich history of provocative queer entertainment and I’m proud to have been chosen by them as a speaker,” Lucas says. “It’s exciting to be presenting my work at such a venue, and I promise that this will be one of the most talked-about events at the entire film festival.” Lucas previously appeared at QFest in 2006 for the premiere of More Dangerous: The Making of Michael Lucas’ Dangerous Liaisons.

This year’s program is set for Saturday, July 17, at 9 pm at the Ritz East Theater 2 (125 S. Second Street). For tickets and more information, visit LucasEntertainment.com or click here.

It was very cool to hear him talk about his films as well as Israel. I own a copy of Men of Israel and it's gorgeous. In point of disturbing fact I had no idea of the heinous idea of building a mosque at ground zero until he had mentioned it in his talk. Although I didn't get to go to the after party (had to make it back to catch my subway train and bus), the evening was a lot of fun.
