Short Takes: Adonis Gets Brutal…and More

Here it is, guys! The first pic of Jason Adonis from his just-wrapped role in Raging Stallion’s upcoming holiday release Brutal. It was only last week that talent agent David Forest announced that returning client Adonis would be appearing in a scene in award-winning director Tony Dimarco’s new sports-themed epic. Now, Tony tells VincentLambert.com that after a grueling 19 days, the big-budget San Fran production is complete. Adonis, who appears in a threeway with Spencer Reed and Trent Diesel, is in impressive company, with a cast that includes Ricky Sinz, Alexsander Freitas and Angelo Marconi. RSS president Chris Ward says, “Brutal is our most high-profile movie of the year and adding Jason to the cast is perfect. I look forward to seeing him under our lights!” Oh, and it just so happens that Adonis’s scene was shot on his 30th birthday. Have a happy, bb! Next up for the hung stud? Known as the Black Buddha of Porn, Summers produced and directed numerous films, including Two Handfuls, Big and Thick and Style, and discovered major stars throughout his many years in the porn business, especially through his association with gay porn innovators Chuck Holmes, Matt Sterling (both deceased), John Travis and Jim Hodges. Summers died of a heart attack in North Hollywood. He was believed to be in his early sixties.…Anyone remember Big Penis? The book, that is. Movie Review: Hazzard Zone

Cast: Johnny Hazzard, Vinnie D’Angelo, Josh West, Aron Ridge, Brodie Newport, Geoffrey Paine, Jason Longh, Vin Costes.

Handsome Johnny Hazzard returns from a brief layoff to prowl for sex in Hazzard Zone. Filmed on location at Los Angeles’ famed Zone sex club, the movie features the Rascal exclusive in two excellent scenes. First, hot Josh West and hotter Vin Costes go bump in the night as they wander the halls of the club. Soon their mating dance is consummated and Hazzard happily joins in. This scene is beautifully lit, with a gorgeous play of shadow and light as the trio do their thing. Hazzard performs major oral on both guys; in turn, they blow him and eat his perfect ass. In the end, Hazzard takes both in his end (not at the same time!) to great effect—and delivers a copious money shot. This fantastic (and long) scene is the centerpiece of the film and walks a perfect line between fine art and steamy sex. Bravo!

Hazzard is also paired with beefy Vinnie D’Angelo for another intense session that takes place on a staircase. The tattooed young Hazzard seems tentative at first as he and the manly D’Angelo make out, but slowly he turns up the heat for another great matchup. The duo trades oral and spit on each other before Johnny bends over to welcome Vinnie into his butt. There’s a great shot here of Hazzard as he is turned all the way over and delivers his cum shot upside down! D’Angelo pumps out a load and brings this unlikely pairing to a surprisingly hot close.

Two other scenes feature Geoffrey Paine (who has some seriously hairy nuts) getting together with Jason Longh and Brodie Newport taking on Aron Ridge, but it’s hard to compete with sexual dynamo Hazzard. His taut body and easygoing demeanor are a sight for sore eyes. When Hazzard is in the zone, few porn stars can compare—especially when director Chi Chi LaRue is at the helm. Together, they make a night of anonymous sex quite memorable. Extras include a look behind the scenes with superstar Chad Hunt interviewing superstar Hazzard. Now that would be a fun coupling! Movie Review: Unknown

Cast: Blake Riley, Tommy Blade, Vinnie D’Angelo, Nash Lawler, Dominik Rider, Trystian Sweet, Jackson Wild, Chad Hunt, Coby Mitchell.

Unknown finds director Chi Chi LaRue tackling a rare story film that casts exclusive Blake Riley in a touching tale of love lost and found. In a sweet script by Eddie Stone, Riley meets his boyfriend (Trystan Sweet) after standing up blind date Vinnie D’Angelo. But a year later, Riley finds himself receiving mysterious text messages that attempt to bring the lost lovers together. But first, we get to experience the many joys of Riley and Sweet when they are a twosome. The opening sex scene of Unknown is a stunner as the couple get together in a gorgeous shower. There is lots of great kissing and sucking, and both models stay rock-hard throughout. Riley gets his hairy hole eaten before Sweet pounds him. Both guys have great bodies and their connection is palable—which only makes Riley’s loss all the sadder as he mopes around after Sweet is gone.

While selling their house, Riley leaves interested buyers Tommy Blade and Coby Mitchell alone in the kitchen and, of course, they end up screwing on the countertops. Blade is a pro and he puts newcomer Mitchell through his paces nicely. Riley’s bud Chad Hunt calls and invites him to a fourgy but Riley begs off, so Hunt shares his big cock with Jackson Wild, Dominik Rider and Nash Lawler instead. Wild is the first of the studs to go crazy on Hunt’s dick, performing a deep, wet suck. The guy practically impales his head on the thing! But that is only the start. Hunt eats out Lawler’s ass, then Lawler tops Rider and Hunt rams Wild, who screams and emotes in a very real way that is rarely seen in porn.

Star-crossed lovers Riley and D’Angelo finally meet when their texts match up, exchanging smiles at a restaurant that is always oddly deserted. This leads to a bedroom scene, where the manly D’Angelo is paired with the boyish Riley. They both perform admirably, with Riley working D’Angelo’s big nips and D’Angelo manipulating Riley’s butt with expertise. Blake rides Vinnie in two positions and even delivers not one but two cum shots. Riley has won several awards this year, including Best Newcomer at the GAYVNs, and with Unknown he achieves true star status and fulfills his promise. He is fantastic to look at and fully committed to his scenes and partners. We know a superstar when we see one, and Blake Riley is it! (Channel 1 Releasing)

Movie Review: Big Dick Society

Cast: Darren Rodman, Sebastian Young, Barrett Long, Trevor Knight, Antonio Madiera, Cam Kurtz, Cort Donovan, Jonathan Lowe, Chad Hunt, Jason White, Tommy DeLuca.

A gifted cast helps director Chris Steele’s Big Dick Society live up to its title. In the opening scene, Trevor Knight is working on a new contraption called the Size-O-Matic that measures a guy’s dick when he places it through the glory hole. If it meets Knight’s specifications, a green light flashes and the stud is deemed worthy of his elite club. While Knight runs out to do errands, good buddy Cort Donovan decides to try out the machine with Cam Kurtz, who must have passed the test because Donovan sucks him through the hole before banging him. But this is only the beginning of the well-endowed guys who show up. Knight soon has a bevy of big dicks in his living room, ready to measure up and pair off.

Antonio Madiera and Tommy DeLuca are the first to separate from the group for a nice flip-flop fuck. Madiera isn’t especially hung, but his big balls make up for it. DeLuca is no slouch in the size department, but he also works hard here, tongue-fucking Madiera before giving him a good pounding. The dicks keep growing as superstar Chad Hunt delivers his massive meat to twink Jonathan Lowe, who eagerly chows down on Hunt’s amazing piece. Sure, the newbie gags, but who wouldn’t? Hunt eats and preps Lowe’s sweet ass before giving it a no-mercy fuck. Next, big Barrett Long takes on Jason White, who is coached to “breathe” by the hung stud with stunning low-hangers. Knight finally gets to enjoy the fruits of his labor when cover model Darren Rodman and his friend Sebastian Young scam their way into the party by offering up Young’s virgin ass. This scene has been hyped as the bottoming debut of Jet Set exclusive Young, and while he does manage to take all of Knight, he doesn’t exactly look thrilled to be doing so. He actually does better as top man to Rodman. In the end, the oversize cast shows what it means to be blessed with a large member—and to know how to use it, too. Picture quality is good, and the extras include a fun cameo by veteran star Chad Donovan (owner of another big dick!) as a crotchety old neighbor. (Jet Set Men)

Event: More GAYVN Awards Coverage

We continue our coverage of the 10th-Annual GAYVN Awards with more exclusive pictures and dish from the show, which was held last Saturday at the Giftcenter in San Francisco. Sirius Radio personalities Derek and Romaine hosted, filling the big shoes of last year’s host Kathy Griffin (who interestingly booked the Castro Theatre, where the awards took place in 2007, on the same night to perform her comedy act. Our spies tell us that Griffin had faux protesters outside the theater carrying signs that read, “You want an awards show? Suck this!”). The duo decided to answer their very vocal critics (especially the guys at Naked Sword who compared them to potted houseplants) by bringing two actual plants on-stage to start the show. It took the audience a while, but eventually they caught on.

Before that, Lady Bunny performed one of her hysterical song parodies geared especially to the crowd (“All That Jazz” became “All That Jizz”). Later, the NYC drag queen and DJ returned with a string of one-liners that skewered her XXX-rated audience (Sample joke: “I told Michael Lucas to act his age, so he died!”). Chi Chi LaRue, a former host of the show, also took the stage to hype the crowd for the beleaguered new hosts and to ask that the industry come together, even if just for that one night. Overall, Derek and Romaine acquitted themselves nicely, offering up some bitchy barbs and (in the case of Romaine) an intentional nip slip. But when all was said and done, their participation was kept to a minimum and, thanks to some of our fellow judges who rarely stopped yapping throughout the show, we could barely hear the leafy duo!

Some of our favorite moments: the entrance of porn It Couple of the Moment Jesse Santana and Guy Parker, both tan beyond their years and chomping gum in unison; the introduction of Hall of Fame presenter Gino Colbert with his name spelled out on the ass cheeks of Falcon’s exclusive power pair Aden and Jordan Jaric; the well-deserved induction of longtime porn superstar Rod Barry into the GAYVN Hall of Fame; Amazonia: Capture and Release director Dennis Bell mentioning its late star Danny Roddick when he accepted the award for Best Ethnic-Themed Video (Latin); and Grunts’ Chris Ward thanking “all the skinny people who make these movies possible” when he won Best Director with Ben Leon.

However, not everyone was completely satisfied with the results. The morning after the awards, Lucas Entertainment president and CEO Michael Lucas sent out a mass e-mail to GAYVN judges and media wondering why his hit sex comedy The Intern (which was named Best Renting Title of 2007) won four awards but his glossy Gigolo, a more serious bid for award approval, received none. “So what went wrong with Gigolo that it got nothing?” Lucas wrote. “If you praised Gigolo as a groundbreaking film, then acknowledge it. Gigolo is a serious feature that was raved about. The Intern is a cute comedy. What went wrong? Where is the common sense? I want the answers.”

Do you hear that, people? Lucas wants answers! What can we say? There’s nothing like a sore winner.

Event: Lucas Virgin Megastore Signing

Michael Lucas is at it again—breaking down doors and taking New York’s gay-porn industry places it has never been. On Wednesday, June 21, 2006, Lucas, president and CEO of Lucas Entertainment, and 10 of his top models invaded Manhattan’s Virgin Megastore for a first-ever in-store signing and Q&A session. At the height of Manhattan’s Gay Pride week festivities, the group drew a crowd of more than 100 eager fans. “We are the first gay adult entertainment company to do something like this in New York,” Lucas said. “It is a breakthrough for the industry.”

The event, hosted by drag queen Hedda Lettuce, featured exclusives such as Chad Hunt (whose 11-year-old son, Aaron, cheered him on from the audience), Wilson Vasquez (pictured above), Ben Andrews, Jack MacCarthy, Tony Ryder, Corey Cade, J., Lorenzo, Jack Bond and Harold Pitt. The screen studs greeted the public and signed recent Lucas releases, including Encounters: The Point of No Return, Auditions Volume 9: Chad Hunt and GAYVN’s 2005 Best Picture winner, Michael Lucas’ Dangerous Liaisons.

Questions ranged from the predictable (How did you get into porn?) to the personal (Have you ever fallen in love with a costar?) to the serious (How has the Internet affected DVD sales?). Lucas chided J. into showing his chiseled abs, and one fan request prompted a few of the models to make out onstage. As usual, the controversial director caused the biggest commotion, initiating a cockfight between Hunt and Andrews over who is packing the most meat. With more than nine inches apiece, these guys have nothing to worry about!

“We are very happy with the turnout,” Lucas said. “I hear that when Tommy Lee was here he had only about 20 people show up! Virgin Megastore is very happy too; they told us that they sold hundreds of Lucas videos over the past few days.”
