News: RSS Signs Newcomer Derek Parker

Manly Derek Parker is the latest stud to sign a long-term exclusive contract with Raging Stallion Studios. The furry, bearded and tattooed newbie was recently discovered and signed after he shot his first scene, which will appear in the soon-to-be-released Fucked Up. Parker was part of a six-man orgy directed by company president Chris Ward. “Derek is the embodiment of Raging Stallion—beefy, edgy and rugged,” Ward says. “He fits the bill exactly—great body, handsome face and just the right amount of roughness and toughness. On top of that, he’s a versatile and intense performer who will charm the pants off our fans, literally. We’re excited to get him scheduled for more upcoming projects.”

News: RSS/Falcon Names Two New Men of Year

It’s time to get manly again. Raging Stallion has announced that its 11th-annual Man of the Year is Angelo Marconi. In addition, Landon Conrad was named the first-ever Falcon Studios Man of the Year. Both models are studio exclusives and have appeared in numerous award-winning films, including this and this.

“I have had the privilege of being able to work with the greatest porn stars of all time,” RSS/Falcon president Chris Ward says, “and these two men rank among the best of them. Angelo is arguably the best bottom working today, with an ass that makes men drool! To me, Landon is the perfect image of what it means to be a Falcon man. Raging Stallion rages on! For the third year in a row, the San Francisco–based studio took the top prize at the GAYVN Awards, which were handed out on Friday night. Comedian Alec Mapa hosted the show at the Castro Theatre, where RSS’s big-budget Focus/Refocus epic took four of the six awards it was nominated for, including Best Feature Release, Best Director (Chris Ward, Tony Dimarco and Ben Leon in a tie with Joe Gage for Dad Takes a Fishing Trip), Best Supporting Actor (Steve Cruz) and Best Videography. But it was Channel 1 Releasing that took home the most awards (six), for its various C1R, Rascal and All Worlds Video imprints, including Best Affiliate Program, Best Live Webcam/Webshow and Best Web-Based Marketing. They also nabbed the Best-Renting Title award for Steven Daigle: XXXPOSED. Former Big Brother reality star Daigle made a splash in his GAYVN debut by wearing only a cowboy hat on-stage. Lucas Entertainment walked off with three awards, including Best-Selling Title for Men of Israel and Best Alternative Release for Men in Stockings, though company president Michael Lucas was not there to accept. On the porn star side, Logan McCree (above) won Best Actor for RSS’s The Visitor; Conner Habib was voted Best Newcomer; and Rafael Alencar took Best Cumshot for Lucas’s Wall Street. It was also a good night for the Brents, as Brent Corrigan was named Web Performer of the Year, and C1R exclusive Brent Everett got Best Porn Star Site and Overall Fan Favorite. Speaking of fans, Sister Roma edged out Chi Chi LaRue and Jason Sechrest for the fan-voted GAYVN Personality of the Year, and Wilfried Knight received the coveted Performer of the Year title. Other highlights: Best Fetish Release went to Hot House’s Skuff 4, and Best Sex Comedy was Dominic Ford’s Harry Potter satire Whorrey Potter and the Sorcerer’s Balls. Director Gino Colbert once again did the Hall of Fame inductions, this year for Ryan Block, Mike Donner, Bill Marlowe, Matthew Rush and Mickey Skee. Filmmaker Pat Rocco was recognized with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Once again, one man was not enough, and president Chris Ward named exclusives D.O. and Adam Champ as this year’s co-titleholders. “The selection process was very difficult as we have a group of exclusives who are the finest actors in the business,” Ward says. “D.O. and Adam, however, rank as the top performers in our industry and I am proud to have them both as the top representatives of our company.” D.O. has already starting filming for the studio after ending a deal with Black Scorpion, and Champ recently gave up his job as a COLT Man (with hubby Carlo Masi) to make the move to RSS.…On Sunday, leather and fetish studs and their furry admirers gathered for the annual Folsom Street Fair. So basically every porn star from every other weekend event was seen, including Samuel O’Toole, Landon Mycles (killer abs!) and James Jameson (below). Congrats to all. Now go take a nap, you guys!

News: RSS Signs Four New Exclusives

We turn our back for a second and Raging Stallion goes and signs four (count ’em!) new exclusives. Now the San Francisco–based studio has always been known for its top-notch talent, but they’ve really outdone themselves this time. Among the big names are porn superstar Jason Adonis, who has been in and out of the industry over the past few years. “When Jason came to shoot with us we all hit it off very, very well,” RSS president Chris Ward says. “He was delightful. We did not plan to sign him when he first arrived, but he asked us to consider him as an exclusive. He wanted to work with the top porn studio, and he thought Raging Stallion was the place to be.” Adonis kicked things off by doing a scene for director Tony Dimarco’s Brutal. Next, he will be in a two-part movie currently lensing in Napa Valley. Adonis will also appear at the Raging Stallion booth at the Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco on September 26.

In addition to Adonis, hot and hairy former COLT Man Adam Champ has joined the studio for a long-term exclusive contract. He will make his RSS debut in a scene with Vince Ferelli in Caught on Tape for director Steve Cruz. Champ will also be at the Folsom Street Fair. “I have always admired Raging Stallion as a studio that shoots very masculine men,” Champ says. “I got a fantastic exclusivity proposal from Chris Ward and I accepted it immediately. When I arrived in San Francisco, all the Raging Stallion staff made me feel like a superstar. I am very excited to start working with them.”

Next up is Rusty Stevens, who has had an extensive online career and been in a few DVDs in the past two years. He was once a smooth twink, but you’d never know it now as RSS is re-creating him as a manly man. “Stevens is one of the best actors I have ever worked with,” Ward says. “He delivers 110 percent all the time and just look at him! He has a perfect face, a perfect cock, a perfect body—it doesn’t get any better than this!” So far Stevens has filmed Don’t Ask, Just Fuck and Brutal (both directed by Dimarco) for the studio. He will also be involved in a major fetish site that Raging Stallion and the Gunzblazing affiliate program are launching soon.

Finally, Tommy Defendi has also joined RSS’s growing stable of porn stars. Following a successful career online and in films, Defendi appears in Don’t Ask, Just Fuck and Piss Army, a watersports fetish project from Cruz. “I am very happy to join Raging Stallion’s family,” Defendi says. “Although I am not a newcomer, I know my look has changed from boy to man. I am thankful that now I am allowed to be seen as a true versatile performer. I am looking to expand my horizons and learn the ropes and see my limits pushed in all aspects of production.”

Perhaps in answer to industry critics (and this hysterical video from Jet Set Men’s Rob Romoni!?), Ward noted, “We released 65 movies over the past 12 months and are looking toward releasing 85 in 2011—we are a huge production company and we have an ongoing need for top-quality, exclusive talent. And now we are in the enviable position of having nearly every top star coming to us to join our company. We do not turn down top talent, especially when we have so much work for them. And who could say no to Jason Adonis?”

Fleshjack is looking for porn stars! The sex toy company is on a hunt for three models to represent its line of products, and they will be chosen by fans through an online contest. Eighteen performers are nominated for the title, including Brent Corrigan, Steve Cruz, Steven Daigle, Brent Everett, Matthew Rush and Austin Wilde. The Visconti Triplets (pictured above) previously served as spokesmodels for the company.

What is it like to be a gay porn superstar?
It’s funny cause I don’t think it’s even fully hit me yet. I feel like just recently I’ve started to realize how many people actually do recognize me when I’m out, so it’s slowly setting in. You’d think by now I would have realized that, but in reality I have a pretty normal life really and this is just one aspect of it.

When did you start thinking about doing porn? Were you a porn fan?
I guess I used to fantasize about doing porn when I was a teenager but never really thought I’d ever pursue it. I have always been into porn though, so it’s probably not that weird that I’m involved in the industry now. I love being an exhibitionist, so I’m not surprised in that sense, that’s for sure. I’m a total hornball is probably all I need to say, cause that explains a lot!

Did you always know you had a big dick?
As for my cock, it’s funny cause I just thought they all looked the same when I was younger, so I guess it wasn’t till just recently that I actually realized I had a big dick. I was only with one guy before I started doing porn, so that was the only other dick I really saw besides mine. It’s actually pretty crazy how different they all are now that I’ve had the chance to see a few more.

You have a scene with a porn newcomer Ricky Martinez (below) in Tales of the Arabian Nights. How was it working with a first-time porn star?
I think it went pretty well. He’s definitely a beautiful guy, plus we filmed our scene outside at night in a courtyard while it was raining, and it really doesn’t get sexier then that. Also, that is the scene that got me noticed by RSS and brought upon the exclusive offer, so I could definitely say that that scene was an important point in my career as well.

What kind of guy are you attracted to?
I’m not sure I have a type really. I do tend to usually like hairy older guys and dare I say jocks? I just want my man to be intelligent, confident and inspire me to be a better man too.
