News: Blake Riley to Retire From Gay Porn

Porn star Blake Riley is leaving the building! Our colleague Jason Sechrest of JasonCurious.com is reporting that the Rascal Video/Channel 1 Releasing exclusive has decided to retire from the industry. Riley has been telling friends that he’s “over the whole porn thing” for a while, and his decision may or may not be affected by the fact that he is in a relationship. The onetime Unzipped cover model was discovered by director Chi Chi LaRue and has appeared in numerous films, including Unknown, Chosen, Excess and the newly released Taken: To the Lowest Level and Rascal: A Toy Story. Riley also famously went bi in the controversial Shifting Gears. During his brief time in the big biz, he won Best Newcomer at both the GAYVN and Grabby awards and also had his photogenic butt (see above) molded for the Rascal Toy Line. Riley is still under contract to Channel 1 and the door remains open if and when he changes his mind (as one or two other porn stars, including Benjamin Bradley, have done in the past). Short Takes: Blake Riley Renews…and More

Channel 1 Releasing has announced that exclusive model Blake Riley (above) has re-signed his contract with the company. Riley, who was discovered by director Chi Chi LaRue, has appeared in numerous films, including Chosen, Unknown and the controversial bi title Shifting Gears (which we still haven’t mustered the courage to watch!), and won Best Newcomer last year at both the GAYVN and Grabby awards. He has also had his perfect ass molded for the Rascal Toy Line. “Channel 1 is my home,” Riley says. “There’s no place else I’d rather be!”…Did anyone catch that very special (and especially lame) gay-for-pay episode of The Tyra Banks Show last week? When the judgmental hostess wasn’t pandering to her clueless audience (these ladies have never heard of gay-for-pay before?!), she asked ridiculous questions (“Do you give presents or receive them?” to find out whether fidgety guest Kurt Wild is a top or a bottom) and skated around the topic of homophobia when Jet Set star Aaron James brought it up. Overall, both models (not to mention straight guy Dean Coxx) came off less than great when speaking their so-called minds: Wild lost us with his “porn is porn” defense; James was a turnoff when insisting that “a man doesn’t turn me on”; and Coxx went for the obvious with “I’m just acting.” Uh-huhhh. So does that mean drag queen impersonator Tyra is more their speed? They can have her.…Porn star Ryan Raz (below) has revealed on his blog that he has been diagnosed with rectal cancer. The newcomer, who has most recently appeared in Lucas Entertainment’s Return to Fire Island and Cock Stalker, had surgery last week. He says that the cancer was caught early and he expects to make a full recovery. Get well soon, blue eyes!

Movie Review: Unknown

Cast: Blake Riley, Tommy Blade, Vinnie D’Angelo, Nash Lawler, Dominik Rider, Trystian Sweet, Jackson Wild, Chad Hunt, Coby Mitchell.

Unknown finds director Chi Chi LaRue tackling a rare story film that casts exclusive Blake Riley in a touching tale of love lost and found. In a sweet script by Eddie Stone, Riley meets his boyfriend (Trystan Sweet) after standing up blind date Vinnie D’Angelo. But a year later, Riley finds himself receiving mysterious text messages that attempt to bring the lost lovers together. But first, we get to experience the many joys of Riley and Sweet when they are a twosome. The opening sex scene of Unknown is a stunner as the couple get together in a gorgeous shower. There is lots of great kissing and sucking, and both models stay rock-hard throughout. Riley gets his hairy hole eaten before Sweet pounds him. Both guys have great bodies and their connection is palable—which only makes Riley’s loss all the sadder as he mopes around after Sweet is gone.

While selling their house, Riley leaves interested buyers Tommy Blade and Coby Mitchell alone in the kitchen and, of course, they end up screwing on the countertops. Blade is a pro and he puts newcomer Mitchell through his paces nicely. Riley’s bud Chad Hunt calls and invites him to a fourgy but Riley begs off, so Hunt shares his big cock with Jackson Wild, Dominik Rider and Nash Lawler instead. Wild is the first of the studs to go crazy on Hunt’s dick, performing a deep, wet suck. The guy practically impales his head on the thing! But that is only the start. Hunt eats out Lawler’s ass, then Lawler tops Rider and Hunt rams Wild, who screams and emotes in a very real way that is rarely seen in porn.

Star-crossed lovers Riley and D’Angelo finally meet when their texts match up, exchanging smiles at a restaurant that is always oddly deserted. This leads to a bedroom scene, where the manly D’Angelo is paired with the boyish Riley. They both perform admirably, with Riley working D’Angelo’s big nips and D’Angelo manipulating Riley’s butt with expertise. Blake rides Vinnie in two positions and even delivers not one but two cum shots. Riley has won several awards this year, including Best Newcomer at the GAYVNs, and with Unknown he achieves true star status and fulfills his promise. He is fantastic to look at and fully committed to his scenes and partners. We know a superstar when we see one, and Blake Riley is it! (Channel 1 Releasing)

Seen: Chi Chi and Big Bro 10 Cast at Wrap Party

Besides being a drag queen and porn mogul, Chi Chi LaRue is the out-loud-and-proud No. 1 fan (besides us!) of CBS’s hit summer reality series Big Brother. The show just finished its 10th cycle, and the directix once again finagled her way onto the CBS lot for the wrap party and met up with winner Dan (above), the cute school teacher who never stopped strategizing. LaRue also held an afterparty at the Abbey in West Hollywood, where porn stars (including Johnny Hazzard, Blake Riley and Steve Cruz) mingled with reality stars. Seen (below): LaRue with bodybuilder Jessie (the most hated houseguest of the season who Chi Chi said was actually very nice and showed up with his girlfriend); gay cowboy Steven; adorable Renny, the dawlin’ from New Orleans; this year’s blonde, Keesha; and Hazzard, Riley and Cruz (with former contestant Marcellas looking on). Now what’s this we hear about Steven hooking up with Hazzard and Cruz? Who said reality bites?

News: Steve Cruz Produces Safer-Sex Spot

Porn star Steve Cruz, who recently signed with Mustang to direct his first film, has produced a safer-sex public-service announcement. The 90-second spot, which is part of Cruz’s self-funded “How I Roll” campaign, features some of the top names in gay porn talking about safe sex, barebacking, AIDs testing and condom use. Movie Review: Chosen

Cast: Tommy Blade, Blake Riley, Eddie Diaz, Jude Collin, David Daniels, Guy Parker, TJ Young, Kayden Pierce, Enrique Currero, Jason Michaels.

All Worlds exclusives Tommy Blade, Blake Riley and Eddie Diaz are invited to join a members-only sex club. In four scenes in Chosen, they and others check in and act out their wildest sexual desires. First, Jude Collin does a bit of self-sucking before Tommy Blade saves him from having to finish the job. But when Blade spins around and plants his butt in Collin’s face, the handsome model looks like he doesn’t know what to do. Sure, Collin kisses, licks and smacks it, but that’s as far as it goes. (He does no sucking either.) Oh well, he makes up for it by pounding Blade hard. This no-mercy ramming is a highlight of the movie. Next, unlikely top TJ Young takes on newcomer Jason Michaels, an 18-year-old from Ohio making his debut. Young and Michaels make out and TJ rips off the newbie’s tank top, but that’s all Michaels exposes until the very end of the scene. He blows Young and eats his ass while wearing his jockstrap and even keeps it on as Young throws him a listless fuck. Eventually, he gets hard and jacks. Still, the kid shows promise—he just needs to stop shaving his chest. All that stubble is gross!

Eddie Diaz starts his scene tied up while Enrique Currero and David Daniels perform oral. This doesn’t last though, and Diaz ends up bottoming for Currero in a sling while Daniels watches and jerks. His blank expression doesn’t give away much, but Daniels winds up in the sling next, taking Currero’s meat as well. The final scene starts with boys dancing in cages (Guy Parker and Kayden Pierce) until Blake Riley enters and sets them free. Soon, he and Parker are sharing Pierce’s cock. Pierce tops Parker and bottoms for Riley. They all jack in the end, with Riley winning the long-shot contest (and despite his bland porn name, Riley brings lots of ethnic hotness to this trio. We’d swear he’s Italian!).

Overall, Chosen is tightly edited and has great picture quality. The winning cast is shot with swirling smoke and moody (flattering) lighting. Fans will also enjoy the long behind-the-scenes extra, but they might want to watch it after viewing the movie because seeing the models get their eyebrows tweezed and Blade prance around in a red bra might be a hard-on killer. Seen: Big Brother 9 Cast at Here Lounge in Weho

The cast of Big Brother 9 celebrated the show’s season finale last week at Here Lounge in Los Angeles. Following a wrap party on the CBS lot in Hollywood, which was attended by director Chi Chi LaRue, the reality stars moved the fun to Here, where Jason Sechrest of JasonCurious.com was hosting his Porn Star of the Week event. LaRue, who is a hard-core fan of the show per her blog at ChiChiLaRue.com, invited the newly ousted houseguests to her apartment for a private after-party. Among those seen: Cougar mom Sheila and token evil fag Joshuah (pictured above with Sechrest) and Crazy James (below with LaRue), who made news during the season when his gay porn past came to light (he shot a scene for NakedSword’s Dirty Tricks series). Wannabe MILF Sheila is also an actress (she starred in a movie titled Ellie with Shelley Winters in 1984—IMDB it!) and nasty chubster Josh, whose cruel comments and frank admissions about his drug usage and unsafe-sex practices gave gays nationwide a bad name, is also threatening to do porn. This might be a possibility now that he’s met industry power player LaRue, though he might want to look into dieting first. Meow. Press: Unzipped’s May Issue Hits Stands

The new issue of Unzipped magazine boasts a supercute Blake Riley cover. The Rascal Video exclusive and recent GAYVN Best Newcomer award winner reveals in an exclusive interview with writer Scott Roberts that he hopes to have a son someday and name him Colton Riley. Event: 10th-Annual GAYVN Awards 2008

The 10th-Annual GAYVN Awards took place last Saturday at the Giftcenter in San Francisco, and although much controversy surrounded the choice of hosts (no Kathy Griffin), the nomination process (no judges allowed) and the color scheme of the set (kidding), the show was pretty much business as usual. There were technical difficulties, poor sound and a surprising lack of skin, although by the second half, the trophy boys had stripped to their undies. The night’s big winner was Raging Stallion’s Grunts (as we predicted it would be months ago) with nine awards. The military epic won Best Picture, Best Director and Best Editing (Chris Ward and Ben Leon) and Best DVD Extras. Leading stud Jake Deckard took home Best Actor for the film, in addition to Performer of the Year. Co-star Ricky Sinz walked away with three awards for Best Supporting Actor, Best Solo Performance and Best Sex Scene (with Roman Ragazzi, who was sorely missed from the event. Well, at least by us!). All World’s Link: The Evolution followed with six awards (including Best All-Sex Video, Best Group Scene and Best Music, which went to director Chi Chi LaRue’s young nephew Red Shag, a composer and DJ from Minnesota. Hmmm, wonder whether the kid was even allowed to watch the movie!). Lucas Entertainment got four awards for The Intern, including Best Sex Comedy and Best Supporting Actor for Christian Cruz (a tie with Sinz). Titan Media received three awards for Best Leather Video (Folsom Leather), Best Extreme Specialty Release (Fear) and Best Videography for H2O (Brian Mills and Paul Wilde).

Other highlights: Blake Riley for Best Newcomer; Jerry Douglas got Best Screenplay for Brotherhood; Jesse Santana, Nickolay Petrov and Jason White took Best Threesome for Jet Set’s Just Add Water (although we doubt Petrov will be picking up his trophy anytime soon); and Collin O’Neal’s World of Men release Edinburgh for Best Pro/Am. Director Gino Colbert inducted this year’s Hall of Fame honorees: veteran porn stars Rod Barry and Tiger Tyson; directors Paul Barresi, Terry LeGrand, Lucas Kazan and David McCabe; and photographer Greg Lenzman (aka Mocha).
