Last week, we told you about Brent Corrigan and Rocky Houston appearing at Cocktails With the Stars at Micky’s in West Hollywood. As expected, Rocky announced his big return to the big business, but the surprise of the night was that the guys were joined by superstar Zeb Atlas (who just signed to shoot four more scenes for Raging Stallion and Falcon). Muscle stud Atlas and timeless twink Corrigan ended up stripping down for the crowd in the packed upstairs lounge, while Rocky gave out copies of his 2009 Jet Set Men film Hung Country for Young Men. If you weren’t at Micky’s in West Hollywood last week, you missed studly Jesse Santana. The Raging Stallion exclusive put in an appearance at the weekly Cocktails With the Stars event, where he looked adorbs as always and was even spotted smooching some lucky guy. But if you do have a TV (and cable), you had the chance to catch Jesse in a brief cameo on the latest episode of the popular RuPaul’s Drag Race on Logo. Santana sported a sailor cap and strutted on stage for a runway show with several other hotties. While we’re hearing all sorts of rumors about Logo, which is doing about as well in viewership numbers as Oprah’s OWN, and its upcoming programming (What? No more trashy A-List reality “stars” to kick around!?), at least Ru is going strong. Jesse, too!

News: Roman Ragazzi Passes Away

We’re sad to say that reports of porn star Roman Ragazzi’s death are true. Details are still unknown, but the onetime Raging Stallion exclusive was found dead in his NYC home over the weekend. He was 38. Ragazzi was known for performing in films such as Tailpipes, Grunts, Playback and Savage in 2007 and 2008. He was also named RSS’s Man of the Year and won a GAYVN Award for Best Sex Scene (with Ricky Sinz) in 2008. In the early days of this site, we covered him extensively, including the controversy surrounding the high-profile job he quit after being outed in The New York Post.

Israeli-born Ragazzi went on to start his own business and become a personal trainer. He recently modeled in a swimwear photo shoot in the February issue of Out magazine, but he mostly distanced himself from the industry. Director and friend Michael Lucas tells VincentLambert.com: “Roman was a true Israeli, tough outside yet gentle inside. I feel terrible and guilty that I was not there for him more. My deep condolences to his family and friends.” We knew Roman a bit over the years and always found him to be a sweet and smart man. And if you’ve ever seen his movies, you know how beautiful he was. Thankfully, his work lives on. RIP, RR.

News: RSS Signs Newcomer Derek Parker

Manly Derek Parker is the latest stud to sign a long-term exclusive contract with Raging Stallion Studios. The furry, bearded and tattooed newbie was recently discovered and signed after he shot his first scene, which will appear in the soon-to-be-released Fucked Up. Parker was part of a six-man orgy directed by company president Chris Ward. “Derek is the embodiment of Raging Stallion—beefy, edgy and rugged,” Ward says. “He fits the bill exactly—great body, handsome face and just the right amount of roughness and toughness. News: Falcon Studios Signs Micah Brandt

Let’s start the new year with a stud! Over the holidays, Falcon Studios announced the signing of Micah Brandt to a one-year exclusive contract. Studly Alexander Garrett is the latest model to sign with Raging Stallion Studios as an exclusive. The built and hung hunk was handpicked by RSS president Chris Ward and is currently starring in the new release Alley Cats. “I’ve had my eye on Alexander Garrett since he started performing,” Ward says, “and noticed that he recently had done the work that would make him a superstar. It’s time to get manly again. Raging Stallion has announced that its 11th-annual Man of the Year is Angelo Marconi. In addition, Landon Conrad was named the first-ever Falcon Studios Man of the Year. Both models are studio exclusives and have appeared in numerous award-winning films, including this and this.

Event: Falcon Studios Celebrates 40

Falcon Studios is turning another year older (quite the feat in today’s economic landscape) and will be celebrating 40 years of producing top-notch gay porn this coming weekend. Fans and friends are invited to join in the festivities this Saturday, September 24, from 8 to 10 pm at Mezzanine nightclub (444 Jessie at Mint) in San Francisco. So it was supposed to be the night that Jason Adonis made his co-hosting debut at Cocktails With the Stars at Micky’s in West Hollywood (as he revealed in our recent exclusive interview).
