Web Watch: Phil ST John Launches New Site
GAYVN Award winner Phil ST John has announced the launch of his new Web site, which features all the director’s recent films available for sale, with full synopsis, screen grabs and trailers, pay-per-view theater, behind the scenes and photo galleries. He will also be writing a blog. ST John entered the gay porn industry in 1985 and has produced films for numerous studios, including Titan Media, All Worlds, Tribal Pulse, Pacific Sun and Falcon Studios. Some of his hit titles include Getting It at the Rave, Double Delights and Taggers.

Seen: Parker Williams at Torino Film Fest in Italy
Porn star Parker Williams has returned from the Torino International GLBT Film Festival, where his directorial debut, Lube Job, was shown and he was honored last month. Williams, who is the star of films such as The Hunted and Unspoken and was added to the Grabbys Wall of Fame in Chicago last weekend, tells VincentLambert.com that his trip to Italy was an amazing experience.
“My movie was shown at the film festival for other creative filmmakers, artists, directors from all over the world to watch and talk about,” he says. “And we spoke not of lighting and sex, not of porn stars and dicks, but of the strengths and falls of the porn industry. We spoke of the philosophy that leads into the story, and at no time was I ever made to feel lesser around the other guests or patrons of the festival. It was very surreal to be part of such an experience, including the people I met and the respect and honor shown to me.”
Following the screening, a local club sponsored a party for Williams. “I was surrounded by five boys all in glitter,” he recalls. “These European dancers had me sniffing at their asses like a dog in heat! These kids were no more than 20, hairless, athletic and fucking cute as hell as they tossed sexual comments and innuendos at me. They had a bed in the middle of the bar (pictured above) that was basically my area or stage and with the help of a professional photographer, we took pictures of anyone that wanted to get on that bed with me. Woof!” Everyone knows how thoughtful Italians can be!
“This whole thing was very fun and exciting,” Williams says. “I gave interviews to local papers and magazines, and at no time did I hear, ‘Who was your best screen partner?’ or ‘What is your best movie?’ I think out of all this adventure, the high point is knowing that Lube Job is now part of the movement for porn being accepted by the mainstream cinema.”

News: Raging Stallion’s Grunts Now in Blu-ray
Raging Stallion Studios has announced the release of its multi-award-winning film Grunts: The New Recruits on Blu-ray disc. The film, which won Best Picture at this year’s GAYVN Awards, is the first Blu-ray disc for Raging Stallion and follows Titan Media’s Breakers, which was the first gay porn film to be released in Blu-ray. Many believe that this rapidly growing format will be the new wave for retail sales over the next few years. Initial sales of the Grunts Blu-ray have been strong, showing that gay porn fans are up-to-date with their technology. At the same time as the Grunts announcement, Raging Stallion outlined an ambitious plan to release almost all major new movies in the Blu-ray format. It’s expected that one new Blu-ray disc will be available every three to five weeks. The next Blu-ray feature for the San Francisco–based studio will be director Ben Leon’s The 4th Floor, which stars RSS exclusive Logan McCree.
“The new Blu-ray technology really allows us to showcase our beautiful men as never before,” says company president Chris Ward. “The image is so clear that it almost seems 3-D. After viewers see Blu-ray fucking, they are going to have a hard time going back to the old blurry images they now have. The advance in picture quality is at least as significant as going from black and white to color.”

Movie Review: Desperate Househusbands 2

From the campy acting to the melodramatic music, this frothy follow-up to Private Man’s Desperate Househusbands is good fun from start to finish. Milan Gamiani and Julian Vincenzo are residents of Pussy Willow Lane. After a private dick hired by their wives snaps pictures of them having sex with men, the guys are thrown out of their houses. This soapy setup leads Gamiani to take a job as a houseboy for a horny couple and Vincenzo to work as a bartender. Along the way, they secretly shack up together—and with others, too. Gamiani gets nailed by Jeff Halston in a hot poolside fuck, while beefy Vincenzo bangs shaggy-haired Flavio Valentino. There is also an energetic threeway with Gamiani and his new employers (Solten Talton and Andrew Moretti), which starts with him naked except for his apron! A buff Fred Faurtin shows up at the bar where Vincenzo works for a threeway with the bar back (Ludovic Canot). Five of their buds also get busy in a hot tub. The final scene finds our heroes getting the last laugh on their former wives with a plot twist that suggests another installment of this sexy soap opera is on the way. A strong cast (all wearing Ginch Gonch underwear—hmm, do we smell some product placement?) and lighthearted story line make this one a crowd-pleaser. (Private Man)
