News: Director Csaba Borbely Back in the Sun

Pacific Sun Entertainment has announced that Csaba Borbely, one of its best-selling directors, is returning to the company. Movie Review: Ride ’Em Rough

Director Csaba Borbely is back with his usual assortment of hot foreign men in Ride ’Em Rough. This time, the studs are living and loving on a remote horse ranch, where they bond in the great outdoors. Sexy Rod Stevens shows off his exquisite butt in the opening flip-flop fuck scene. He also wears knee-high rubber boots—as do all the guys—in every scene! But don’t let that distract you from the great bods, intense oral action and anal pounding these models give and take. Of course, there is some convoluted plot involving rivalry at the ranch, but honestly, who can follow when the subtitles are so loosely translated? There is lovely videography, and Borbely has fun composing beautifully symmetrical shots, including scenes featuring the hunky Mangiatti brothers. Letterbox formatting classes up the production, and picture quality is mostly good, although some of the sunny scenes tend to wash out. This is more of the same from Borbely and Pacific Sun, but with a product this solid, viewers will surely want to go along for the Ride. (Pacific Sun Entertainment)

Movie Review: Bang of Brothers

Some newbie soldiers are frantically hunting for a house in the woods. Is this a gay-porn version of The Blair Witch Project? Actually, Bang of Brothers, a stylish thriller from director Tom Bradford, plays out more like a limp-wristed homage to The Amazing Race. Among five middling sex scenes, the warriors in training compete to win drills made up by their hard-edged (and hard-cocked) commander. Clocking in at more than two hours, Bang has too many action sequences that go on for too long. Who wants to watch a bunch of clothed foreigners playing games when Fear Factor is just a flip of the dial away? In the muddled plot, newcomer Adam Gervay is training to become a soldier, but his shyness and orphan past are holding him back. His mates try to be supportive, when they aren’t busy sucking and fucking. Three of the scenes are standard threeways among the other soldiers and officers. In the last scene, the commander takes Gervay under his wing and into his bed. The sex throughout tends toward the mechanical. And while most of the models are smooth and buff with plenty of uncut meat, hairy Norbert Somlay deserves a medal for his thick piece and versatility. Twink Gervay is cute, though he doesn’t have much to do besides look vacant and upset. Picture quality lacks crispness. The colors are overly saturated, and skin tones tend to look too yellow. Maybe these babes should have stayed lost in the woods. (Pacific Sun Entertainment)

Movie Review: Mark Dalton and Friends

Pacific Sun Entertainment packs up five of its hottest models, including superstar Mark Dalton, and films separate photo shoots for each in abandoned barns and houses. The opening credits tell us that the shoots took place off the highways of America, where hot desert winds blow and pesky insects (some “killer bees” that terrorize Dalton in one funny outtake) rule. Dalton’s foray into reality TV (besides being stung by a bee, he has an unsightly tag ripped from his underwear by an overzealous stylist) gives viewers a look behind the image of this beautiful all-American boy. We learn that it’s not all about glamour but also hard work and sacrifice. Dalton, who looks especially beefy in his scene, is joined by gorgeous Jarda Kolar, who doesn’t speak much English and entirely misses the photographer’s reference to Gene Simmons’ tongue; Jirua Kallopa, also new to the United States and, it seems, to saddles as he keeps slipping off the one he is posing on; Ben Harrison shows off a nice bod and hot cock that sticks straight up; and Dylan, a dark, moody stud who jacks off in a barn setting. As anyone who has ever been to a photo shoots knows, it gets very old very fast. Luckily, these photo shoots turn into jack-off sessions. Each stud delivers a juicy cum shot, and there is some exciting crosscutting among the guys as they work toward orgasm. Unfortunately, the scenes tend to drag and boredom sets in long before the pop shots do, but fans of hot bodybuilder types will be satisfied with this attractive bunch. (Pacific Sun Entertainment)
