VincentLambert.com is sorry to report that porn star Shane Risk has committed suicide. His onetime agent Jason Sechrest announced on his site that the former model and singer-songwriter was found dead in his home in West Hollywood this week. He had hung himself. Risk was 25.
The diminutive star appeared in Channel 1 Releasing’s award-winning kink epic Taken: To the Lowest Level for director Chi Chi LaRue last year. He was originally from Maryland and moved to Los Angeles from Arizona to work in the industry. Risk was named to Cybersocket magazine’s list of the top-50 porn stars of 2009, but he soon soured on the business and decided to pursue his music career. He had dropped off the porn radar—until now. We had an opportunity to meet him at an event in West Hollywood around the time of Taken’s release. He was tiny (5-foot-4) and adorable. The type of guy you just wanted to put in your back pocket. RIP, Shane.

I haven't had an opportunity to see much of his work, but your write up and picture made me cry. His loss to all who have known him and managed to get caught up in the light he gave to others will be immeasurable. Tragic that he wasn't able to see that light for himself. :(
