According to CEO Darren Roberts, the 12th installment of the popular event will take place in 2010. “There is absolutely no possibility the awards will be canceled, and we must put an end to these outrageous rumors,” Roberts says. “We’ve been doing this event for a long, long time, and we will continue to recognize gay adult companies for their achievements.” However, he added that the awards would be delayed “due to economic factors.” While last year’s show was co-sponsored by NakedSword, this year, AVN hopes to offset expenses by finding a major U.S. and international network that would broadcast the show on TV. The company used a similar tactic recently for the AVN Awards on the straight side of the industry. Roberts said additional information would be made public as soon as it is available. New Release: Twinkblood

Now that we’re all entirely sick of Twilight’s Robert Pattinson and his overexposed floppy hair, Boycrush Studios and SaggerzSkaterz Studios have joined forces for the first twink vampire adult film. Yup, beefy Taylor Lautner isn’t the only teenage stud out there (although he plays a werewolf in New Moon, plus he’s not legal yet so we won’t mention her!).

Boycrush owner Bryan Kenny has taken his own youthful obsession with Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat and turned it into Twinkblood, an engaging and entertaining story about an 18-year-old Goth guy (a pale Miles Pride) who moves to Phoenix from Seattle to start his first year of college. When a series of vampire attacks hits the sweltering city, young Miles turns his life upside down and risks everything (when he’s not despondently jacking in his room) to uncover the truth about the bloodsuckers. Don’t worry, porn fans, they suck other things, too!  

Twinkblood also stars Chase Harding (as the big-dicked lead vamp), Patrick Kennedy, Phillip Ashton (who appears in an energetic twink fourgy that he told us on Twitter was “a blast!”)  and Boycrush exclusive Felix Russo (who has a girlfriend in his first scene but soon “crosses over” after taking a copious oral pop shot from the charismatic Harding), and features special guest appearances by Edie Leslie and Andy Kay (who also wrote the fun screenplay and eerie original score). Yes, there’s plenty of scrawny, hairless meat here, but the cutish cast commits to both the story and the sex in a way that makes it palatable for even the nontwink lovers in the audience. News: Falcon Studios Signs Landon Conrad

Falcon Studios has announced the signing of Landon Conrad to an exclusive contract. Landon, who has previously appeared in scenes on the Drake Rock and falconstr8men.com Web sites and in Chi Chi LaRue’s upcoming Playing With Fire: 4 Alarm for Channel 1 Releasing, recently wrapped filming on his Falcon debut, Morning Wood. “I have had friends tell me for years that I should do porn,” Conrad says, “but I always brushed them off since I thought I’d be way too inhibited to actually do it. Then one night after a few cocktails I sent my photos to a bunch of studios and was contacted by two the very next day. Before I knew it I was on a plane to San Francisco to meet with Falcon Studios.”

Conrad has been paired with Frenchman Ludovic Canot for his scene in Morning Wood, which will be available on February 2. Previously, he had topped David Dakota, Dominic Pacifico, Derrek Diamond and DJ in his online scenes.
