News: Falcon to Relaunch Jocks Line
Falcon Studios has announced the relaunch of its popular Jocks line with the October release of Road Trip Vol. 1—Russian River, starring Nicholas Lockwood and RJ Danvers (above, from top). The sequel, Road Trip Vol. 2—Santa Cruz, will follow in December.
Director Peter Romero will head up the Jocks line. “I am honored and excited that Falcon Entertainment has given me the opportunity to help them redefine Jocks as a pro/am product,” says Romero, who has previously worked with Catalina Video. “Looking back at Jocks prior to its 2005 hiatus, I knew I had some big shoes to fill. Taking the line in a wholly different direction is a challenge I’m honored to accept.”
The Jocks line will spotlight new performers in unscripted situations. The movies will be released on DVD, and every scene from all Jocks films will be viewable individually online as well.
“Jocks will enlist models 18–22 years of age who have a very natural look,” says Todd Montgomery, president and CEO of Falcon, which is celebrating its 35th year in the porn business. “When we decided to revamp the Jocks line, we knew we wanted to put the performers in real-world situations so they could interact with each other in a more natural and unscripted way. Our job is to find the right place for the right guys and then get out of the way and let the sex unfold.”
With the return of Jocks, all four of Falcon’s brands (Falcon, Mustang, Jocks and Falcon International) are up and running for the first time in five years. “We're thriving in a very challenging environment,” says Montgomery, “and with the relaunch of Jocks and the continued success of Falcon, Mustang and Falcon International, we are well-positioned to be here for another 35 years.“

Thanks, Vince, for mentioning my new favorite RJ Danvers. (Can it be two months already, since your item about him signing with Raging Stallion?) Am looking forward to seeing "Road Trip," and am breathlessly awaiting "Grunts" in December.
