Short Takes: Leo Giamani Gets Busy…and More

Porn star Leo Giamani is back! Not that he’s really been gone, but last week there was a flurry of news about the big gorgeous hunk of man. Giamani, who has worked as an exclusive for Falcon Studios and online for Randy Blue and Jake Cruise, among others, and modeled for Rufskin has now signed with talent manager David Forest, who will rep him via The Premiere Artists group for film, Internet and live appearances. Giamani will also be available for “private introductions” via Forest’s Meet The XXX Stars program. “Leo is such a superstar sex performer and so perfectly handsome, with a fabulous body and huge dick,” Forest says of his latest client, “I feel that his career in gay XXX is just beginning.” Giamani, who won GAYVN’s Internet Performer of the Year Award last year, made his live debut at Goodhandy’s in Toronto this past weekend. And he just filmed a new scene, his first while under industry vet Forest’s career direction, for director Chi Chi LaRue in her latest Channel 1 Releasing film, Steven Daigle: Stalked. This is the second in a proposed trilogy starring Big Brother reality star Steven Daigle, which follows the upcoming XXXPOSED (the third will be filmed this week). The nominees were picked by the unbiased TLA staff, and winners will be named on April 15. Ho-hum categories include Best Movie, Performer and Director of the Year; other more “off-the-wall” categories include Best Hair, Best Intergenerational Flick and Tastiest Oral Cumshot. Anyone can vote and there is no limit on the number of votes you may cast (Gee, this sounds rigged fair). The Grand Prize Winner for 2009 is Kevin Francis, who is pictured below with his charcoal-on-paper drawing (both handsome). This year’s competition produced work from contestants who came from all over the world, including Italy, France, Portugal, Australia, Germany, Canada and, of course, the United States. The winning pieces of art will be exhibited at the Foundation’s 15th-Annual West Hollywood-Los Angeles Erotic Art Fair Weekend on March 27–28 in West Hollywood Park.
