News: AEBN Buys Falcon Studios for Merger With Raging Stallion

The porn world just got smaller. Major video-on-demand provider AEBN has acquired Falcon Studios and plans to merge the venerable company, which was founded by Chuck Holmes in 1971, with Raging Stallion Studios. The press releases says that this will form “the single largest all-male erotic production company in the world.” (Didn’t Channel 1 Releasing say that when they were buying up the gay porn world a while back!? But we digress…) These two San Francisco–based studios, along with Naked Sword and the Gunzblazing affiliate program, will form the gay division of AEBN.

“We are all really excited by this merger,” says RSS president Chris Ward, who will head up the combined studio and direct for both. “Falcon and Raging Stallion are two of the top gay brands and merging means we will be able to produce some really good porn! Falcon has a huge history and I cannot even begin to express what this means to me personally and professionally. We will raise the bar to new heights, achieving more together than either company could on its own.”

Employees of both studios will be integrated into a single staff responsible for the production of nearly 60 new titles and more than 40 compilation titles per year. The combined company brings together 12 major DVD lines, each of which will maintain its own branding (Falcon has Mustang and Jocks; RSS includes Monster Bang, Twinks.com and Hairyboyz). The current Falcon membership site will remain in the Next Door Entertainment network while the current Raging Stallion sites will stay with Gunzblazing. DVD distribution channels for both companies will remain the same. All titles from both studios are available for viewing at NakedSword.com.
