Short Takes: Hazzard on Blue Side…and More

Porn superstar Johnny Hazzard (above) has flown the coop—the Channel 1 Releasing coop, that is. Following many years as a C1R exclusive, the tattooed screen stud has joined the Randy Blue crew online. Hazzard, who made his debut in 2003, has appeared in about 40 films, including his award-winning role in Wrong Side of the Tracks, In His Dreams and Hazzard Zone. He has also done mainstream acting on here! TV’s The Lair, modeled for Boy George and designed his own fashion line. “Always one to try new things, Johnny has signed on with Randy Blue and is ready to start banging his way through our roster of naked gay muscle hunks and horny college guys,” a Randy Blue rep confirms. Hazzard’s first scene on the site is a solo. To celebrate its two-year anniversary, DominicFord.com has divulged the signing of a new model named Bryce Evans. (His perfect torso is pictured below.) Anyone heard of this guy? Evans will be featured in a series of ad campaigns and weekly updates throughout April. But we’ll have to wait until spring, when his first hard-core scenes are released, to see the rest of him. “Bryce has never been seen on film before, is completely new to the industry and is the total package,” director Dom Ford says. “I can’t wait to share him with the world.” We can’t wait either!.…Awards season will soon be upon us (didn’t it just end!?), so it’s only fitting that we mention the upcoming Grabby Awards (set for May 28 in Chicago). We just found out that porn star Shane Frost has been picked to be one of the co-hosts this year. The Boston native will join perennial hosts Chi Chi LaRue and Honey West, plus British stud Dean Monroe and kinkster Tony Buff. Frost follows in the footsteps of fan-voted favorites such as Wolf Hudson, Jeremy Bilding and Roman Heart. Tickets for the big show go on sale April 4. To learn more, visit Grabbys.com.
